Homestyle Beef Gravy

% Ingredients

  • 50.59% Beef Stock
  • 39.0% Heavy Cream
  • 5.0% Butter, unsalted
  • 3.0% Modified Food Starch
  • 1.0% 7103 Natural Flavor Enhancer Powder
  • 0.6% 7400 Komi Powder
  • 0.5% 2103 Champignon Mushroom Extract Powder
  • 0.31% Salt
  • 0.15% Black Pepper, ground

Mix starch, Nikken ingredients, salt and pepper into beef stock until completely dispersed/dissolved and no lumps remain.

Melt butter in saucepan over low heat. Add beef stock mixture and cream to saucepan and increase heat to medium-high.

Bring mixture to a boil.  Reduce heat and simmer for 1 minute while whisking/stirring.
